My online store, www.charlottebroady.com sells unique, exquisite silk scarves inspired by natural beauty and pattern. British made and printed on the finest silks, each one has been created using my unique photography to add sophistication and elegance to any outfit.
I've always been fascinated by pattern, particularly in nature, but essentially any texture where colours and shapes combine to create something really unusual. I am constantly inspired by my garden, country walks and travel (when I can) and look to develop special designs that enhance the flow and drape of natural silk. Generally I use single georgette as it is a fabulous fabric that gives movement and drapes beautifully. I also use crepe de chine and silk twill which are both wonderful fabrics for the softness they provide.
Designed as special pieces to cherish, only a limited number are ever made and clients buy them as special birthday gifts for friends or partners, or to add a splash of unique colour to their own wardrobe. The scarves are wonderfully versatile and can add extra luxury to an evening gown, enhance a professional working wardrobe, or simply add extra glamour to casual weekend outfits.
All the scarves are made in England, and presented in beautiful packaging sourced from UK suppliers too.
